HEARTBREAKING Tshepang Mogale buried, mourners devastated by her son’s reaction
While everyone decried the loss of the talented Tshepang Mogale (37), at the hands of Gender Based Violence (GBV), his youngest son aged nine-years-old left many heartbroken at the graveyard.
The young boy could not contain himself, making everyone emotional as he repeatedly dashed towards his mother’s final resting place, screaming ‘mama’. This sparked a conversation amongst the moaners that children are not only left as orphans but emotionally wrecked.
Mogale’s close friend, Kitso Selato who is also an alumni from My Star talent show, expressed his sadness over this whole situation. He lamented that his friend was only starting to live the life of her dreams after so much hardwork.
“It breaks me to learn that my friend died at the hands of a man. She wanted the best for her children and she took care of them but now she is no more. I am sad and at the same time angry at God as I’m asking myself how come she worked so hard and managed to survive challenges including prostitution, drugs and substance abuse and bullying among other things. She was a changed charecter who was already a positive influence to many. I don’t even know what to say, how her children are going to survive this because she had a good relationship with them,” said Selato.

Local Jazz artiste, Kearoma Rantao wrote on Facebook “Selelo sa bana bale se ntlhabile ko botengteng jwa pelo. A Modimo a tsee taolo, rona ba nama le madi re feletswe, mme Modimo ke ene a itseng.”
However, Tshephang’s oldest kids displayed the courageous trait of their mother as they remembered her for her talent and also sang with so much love at the memorial service to bid their mother farewell.
The famous TikToker and motivational speaker actually leaves behind four children being three boys and a girl. The oldest is a boy, and a student at BIUST while the second oldest, is a girl, and currently seating for her BGCSE. She wrote in her message to her mother that, she will not let the situation disturb her much but keep the promise of passing her exams to make her mother proud as she has promised her when she started her examinations.
Mogale was brutally murdered by her abusive and manipulative ex-boyfriend who had always threatened to harm her.
She was found in a decomposed state at her house in Phakalane inside the kitchen by her sister cousin, Ndiya Mogale on Monday, after she had also attempted to check her at the same place on Sunday but returned home as she was clueless that she was lying in there motionless.
Ndiya found Tshephang’s house windows opened and she was alarmed by unpleasant smell coming from the house, only to find her cousin lying in a pool of blood with flies all over.
She was stabbed about five times, including on the heart, chest, abdomen below her shoulders and on the face.
The culprit committed suicide by hanging after he killed Tshephang, and he was also laid to rest yesterday.
He used Tshephang’s car to travel to Mmopane, where he hanged himself inside a single room rented house.
Due to the decomposed state that Tshephang was in, the police advised the family to bury her instantly.
