Citizens of Botswana will become the latest to be accorded free lessons on Russian language as the St Petersburg University has for some time been running a large-scale Russian language teaching programme for citizens of African countries.
Thus the Center for Open Education by St Petersburg University is now opening its doors to the residents of the Republic of Botswana! The St Petersburg University Center will function with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the “My History” Foundation for the Support of the Humanities.
St Petersburg University is one of the biggest scientific and educational centers in Russia. This year, it celebrated its 300th anniversary!
